Its two-part handle assembly (a G-10 & green Micarta mix) is machine contoured in every direction to easily satisfy any grip. The monolithic blade is big on utility, with a low drag flat grind to keep you on edge. So if youre big on performance, the Rukus is worth the weight!
The Rukus lives up to the expectations we have of Benchmade knives: thoughtfully designed, meticulously assembled, first-rate materials, good balance, and strength. The Rukus has all of these characteristics, ESPECIALLY STRENGTH! This knife is solid as a brick. I prefer fixed blades to folders because of their strength, superior balance (when properly designed) and greater user safety. I wanted a large folder as a substitute for a fixed Blade Knife in situations in which fixed blades are not permitted or would attract unwanted attention. As a stand-in for a fixed blade the Rukus holds up very well.
