The Benchmade Presidio Knives were designed by Mel Pardue. The illustrated Benchmade Knife is the Small Presidio Knife that features a 3″ part serrated drop point blade made of 154CM stainless steel. The blade of this Benchmade knife has dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black ribbed 6061T6 aluminum handle, 4.125″ closed, has an ambidextrous AXIS Lock. A side to side reversible black metal pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade knife. The Small Benchmade Presidio Knife has an overall open length of 7.125″.
Benchmade 520 Presidio
The Benchmade Presidio 5000 has a 154-CM blade with a plain edge. The black anodized aluminum handle feature milled ribs that add gripability to the already contoured handle. The AXIS lock system makes the knife easier (and faster) to open and close. The 5000 series is automatic, pull the AXIS lock down and the blade opens automatically. The pocket clip can be reversed for right or left handers. Overall this is an excellent knife with a good feel and weight, something you could trust your life with.
