The MTK was designed as a multi-purpose Military Tactical Knife. The skeletonized handle has attachment holes which allow you to affix a G-10 Handle. You now also have the option to add a cord wrap to your knife. There are over 6 different options to choose from.
The MPS was designed as a flat and compact knife that was purposely designed to fit in the sheath on the United States Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Army pilot survival vest. The blade is a smaller version of the MPK and the same versatile blade belly makes it a superior utility and survival model. The skeletonized handle allows this knife to fulfill requirements where ultimate lightweight and thin profiles are demanded. Regardless of whether you pilot an F/A-18 strike fighter from an aircraft carrier, a C130 aircraft for AFSOC or an Apache helicopter, this knife is always out of your way but always ready for immediate and intense use. Military and law enforcement personnel like the MPS because of its durability, lightweight and overall tough characteristics. It works equally well in desert or arctic conditions due to the specialized titanium construction ensuring that it will not break in subzero weather as steel does. Military personnel choose it because it makes an excellent all purpose work knife. They have told us that the MPS is the perfect utility knife and is widely used in SERE and many other applications. The MPS comes with a Kydex sheath and optional G10 handles with titanium screws to maintain the corrosion and antimagnetic properties of all Mission’s titanium knives for use with gloves, when wet, or in cold weather conditions.
MPK was originally designed to meet the requirements of the US Navy SEALS and Marine Corps Recon Units. The MPK12-A2 has a 7.125″ blade that is good for all military and law enforcement missions. Whether you are the EOD person working in sand, a recon scout in a desert warfare situation, or a mountain unit working in the frozen tundra, the MPK is a great companion. The Kevlar & Hytrel handle (Orange for Coast Guard or high visibility applications) is so tough it can survive in any adverse environment and will not weaken when hot or subjected to UV. Built for the human hand, the handle is ergonomically designed for extreme hard use and long-term comfort.
